Loner Starter Guide
Well where to begin... My antisocial lifestyle started when I was about eleven, when I realised that a majority of people where extremely judgemental/ bitchy about everyone they come into contact with, about your looks, what you wear, who you talk to, what you like, the list is endless.
The simple solution was to be someone that everyone would like, so that no one could possibly talk about me about in a negative light.
As you may have foreseen that didn't quite work out that way. I found out it was possible to have a majority of people will like you but you had to become this yes man, who has absolute no personality and is a total push over. I hated it but I just couldn’t bring myself to stop and to risk the high chance of other picking on. (Yes I would most definitely have been picked on for being an unattractive, awkward, weird, slightly annoying.)
When I was fifteen I was put in a situation where I didn’t know any of the people around me, yet I needed to interact with them.
Then I suddenly realised, the don’t know me evener and out of nowhere I have made my own alter ego.
Now my new personality I had adopted was EXTREMELY confidant, never nervous or shy just out going and chatty as well as incredibly happy. There was never a day I wound be moody or bitter with this ego and this really changed my life. I was such a different person when I was interacting with other people.
However, this didn’t stop me from being the socially awkward person I still am to this day. Even though I can survive a forced social encounters this really don't mean I always want to and honesty I prefer not really meeting new people or have anything to do with them what so ever. I find my life being a socially awkward loner to be a simplest and bliss life which many individuals will never experience the enjoys of my loner lifestyle.
I'm always alone and have no friends too recently, but I'm already okay with it. Do you want to be friends with me on bloglovin? If yes, just follow my blog there, I'll follow your blog back!!! https://www.bloglovin.com/blogs/anna-alina-3947784

I too started having more of a reclusive anti-social life at 10 or 11, but never managed to acheive much confidence. Kudos to you and your alter ego. I to still feel socially awkward and tend to resort to the yes-man pushover front to skate by in social situations. I avoid going out to meet new people, but I do love the comments and Tweets from Fbloggers Bbloggers and Lbloggers. Here's hoping your confidence continues to grow while you remain true to yourself and your individuality. :)

I can definitely relate to this post as I am definitely a loner too! I have done the same as you where I become this confident alter ego almost around other people which is very draining at times!

Louisa, I remember going swimming with you when we were both home educated children (seems like yesterday). I too don't really enjoy socialising and also found that from the age of 10/11, I was trying to be someone I wasn't. It's very sad to think that people feel this way, that we have to be different to be accepted. Probably one of the reasons why I didn't fit in at college or in any of my jobs, current and past. I think, personally, that we have to embrace ourselves for who we really are and get the message out to other people who feel the same. Great blog, I really enjoyed it!
