Whats With All The Questions

Now please get me wrong, I personally believe it’s a good trade to have. The ability to simply take time to listen and have interest in other people life's and to ask the questions about their self's.
We all know that asking others questions can be great because it helps to form a connection with someone.

But if you have a slightly different lifestyle then them, suddenly they've stopped being curiosities about you and are interrogating you for answers instead.

Something some people I've met seemed to be mined blown by, is the fact I am a vegetarian. Now between you and me I honestly don't see how the fact I don't eat meat can fascinate people so. I understand why you may ask a few questions and that’s fine and quite sweet as well but is when they start nagging me to try meat, (they just don't seem to understand the concept of not eating meat) but on the other hand, you have people do the complete opposite by which they seem to be really concerned if they are anything animal based in front of me the will literally cover their food so “I won't see" and constantly ask me if it’s okay to eat meat in front of me but I do believe it’s so lovely and considerate of them.

I don't mind people asking or ridiculing me for not eating meat simply because it’s my choice and I do not regret my decision but when people my age discover I was home-schooled the lose it.

People seem to suddenly believe that I have never interactive with another human in my life. The question I always get asked is "If you didn't go to school how did you make friends??" Like honestly what am I meant to reply to that "Whoa you're the first person to speak to me since the eighteen years I've been on this planet."
It doesn't stop there though, oh no.

This is truthfully what I usually get ask next. "Are you stupid?" Now apparently the people who ask me this, ask me because if you don't go to school you will never learn anything so thus everyone whom is home educated is officially unintelligent.

Now of course that isn't true and having the freedom to work from home has some really good benefits such as you're able to work on topics you find most appealing to you, you are able to learn in your own time/ not be rushed and you don't have to work for seven hours like most schools because school is used as more of a day-care so the try to fill in the time by give the students unnecessary things to learn and do. But what's worse is I really am stupid. I just am terrible at all learning aspects English, math, sciences, geography, art e.g. so technically yes I am stupid, but not because of not going to school (my two brothers are both smarties ones about to return to his second year of university. The others one I a maths wizard and has all the science/technology know-how.)

I just want to end this post by saying that everyone’s different in their own way, so it’s amazing when people try to learn and embrace others individuality by show interest in their lives but remember just because someone has a different lifestyle there’s no need to mock it or even care about it but the less everyone can do is to respect everyone’s life choices.
